Gazprom and NIS Petrol-branded petrol stations in B&H supporting the Snješko ski school for the second year in a row

Sarajevo, 25 January 2024

G-Petrol Sarajevo, which operates the network of Gazprom and NIS Petrol-branded petrol stations on the B&H market, is supporting the Snješko Ski School again this year. Its employees spent some time with those attending the school and together they enjoyed the delicacies of the Drive Cafe products.

Snješko Ski School was founded in 2013, primarily focusing on children aged 5 to 15, children with disabilities and socially deprived children with the goal to teach as many children as possible how to ski and improve their physical and mental health in the fresh mountain air.

“We are proud to continue our cooperation with the Snješko Ski School because, through the promotion of such projects, we want to encourage all children and their parents to fortify their health and get engaged in sports activities. As a socially responsible company, we have decided to affirm sports for children of the most vulnerable groups, and it is our pleasure to be a part of this generous project,” Milan Čolović, Director of G-Petrol, pointed out.

The Snješko team consists of 12 top instructors who have graduated from the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education. With many years of experience in working with children, these instructors are both professionally and methodologically qualified to teach children the basics of skiing. In addition to skiing techniques, instructors want to teach children ski etiquette, which is very important for ensuring the safety of children while practising this sport.

Every year, the Snješko Ski School undertake to find donations to provide free skiing and equipment for children with disabilities and socially deprived children. G-Petrol’s support also stands as an invitation to other companies to join in assisting this school.
