Sarajevo, 26.01.2023.

The company G-Petrol Sarajevo, which manages the network of Gazprom and NIS Petrol gas stations on the BiH market, presented a donation to the skiing school “Snješko” and thus ensured new ski suits for all participants.

The “Snješko” ski school was founded in 2013 and is focused on working with children with special needs, as well as children from socially disadvantaged categories, with the aim of as many children as possible learning to ski, and, staying in the fresh mountain air, improving their physical and mental health.

“Through the promotion of such projects, we want to support all children with special needs, as well as their parents, to strengthen their health through sports and get involved in sports activities.” As a socially responsible company, we decided to affirm children’s sports, and it is our pleasure to be a part of this noble project of the “Snješko” ski school, said Milan Čolović, director of the G-Petrol company.

The “Snješko” team consists of 12 top trainers educated at the Faculty of Sports and Physical Education, and through their many years of experience working with children and adults with special needs, the trainers are professionally and methodologically educated to approach teaching children the basics of skiing. In addition to skiing techniques, the coaches want to teach children ski etiquette, which is very important for preserving the safety of children while practicing this sport.

The “Snješko” ski school tries every year to find donors in order to provide free skiing and equipment for children with special needs, as well as for children from socially disadvantaged categories. Anyone interested can contact the school for more details regarding support.
